The feedback is as important (to me) as the range. It is nice to hear the confirming "chirp" to let you know it has received your command, and again once it is started - All from the comfort of the Lazy Boy, without looking out the window.

I bought my 791xv off ebay for 160 bucks new and got it installed for 200 and no delay box was needed.. I've had it for like 8 months and I love it. I also installed a mini piezo siren.. and damn that thing is loud!

I wouldn't go with a 791xv. I have one in my Mustang and while it is a nice unit, there are much better ones out there for the money. Look into the Scytek 5000RS-2W. I have one of those in my Explorer and my parents Expedition and Mustang. Great unit with a lot of features for less than half of a 791xv. Better range too.
