I just struck what I believe to be a good deal on a 2002 F150 supercrew, 4x4, 5.8 engine, XLT, towing package, Ac/Cd/cruise/tilt/power everything (except seats), running boards and a hard tilt up tonneau cover. The truck has 21,500 miles and is flawless except for a small dent on the pass. side cab corner. I talked the dealer down from 27,500 to 25,000. Is this a good deal? After weeks of shopping this is much cheaper than the used 2001's I have looked at.
I have to go back tomorrow to sign the paperwork and drive it away. Are there any problems any of you owners are aware of? Anything specific I should look for before finalizing it?
I look forward to giving my 1990 Bronco 4x4 a new friend!
I just bought an 01' Supercrew XLT 4x4 5.8L with 25k miles and paid $23650. From what I can tell it has these options; engine block heater, front buckets, rear sliding glass, running boards, bed liner.
So there is a comparison for you for what it is worth. I feel like I got a good deal on the truck too.
Go to kbb.com and get the used car price. You can come pretty close to actual prices you should expect to pay on a private party deal or from a dealer.

I will try that, I checked NADA and it says it retails at 28,425 and trade in is 25,475. I am in NY and these trucks are very hard to find used. I located 3 after checking 15-20 dealers. Two of them wouldn't drop the price at all and they were more money for 2001's. I was frustrated as heck after dealing with these thieves, then I called on this truck and talked them down on the phone, they were really nice to deal with. Have you had any trouble with your trucks?
