My Rsk

Driving my wifes Ranger for the week made me forget how rough my truck can be sometimes. I guess I kind of got used to it. Ever since I added the 3"rsk and the rear shackle flips I had this slight vibration. Seems to be coming from the rear. When I lifted the rear I added 4 degree shims under the blocks. I never touched to the carrier. Is it time to shim that thing down some?

odds are yes, usually only get the vibration in first gear on take-off though. how much did you lift it? usually a 1\4 -1\2 inch plate will do the trick

Probably.......4* sounds like a lot. Our drivelines are so long that I seriously doubt 4" of lift would need 4* of shims.

hard to say rocknxj; stand back and look at your driveshaft angle, i am impressed that you added shims to the spring packs, most people overlook that

Shim the carrier bearing down about a 1/4 to 1/2 inch and you should be good to go.
