Transfer Flow's facility is only a few hours from me so I plan to go there to a in the bed tank installed. I was hoping to get a tank that I could transfer fuel from, to tractors and such, while still being plumbed into my main tank, however they don't make such an animal.
Have you talked to the guys at Transferflow? They might be able to cobble one together for you. Might have to get it installed after hours and off the clock.

LOL I was thinking that too. Kinda like a cash and a case of beer deal.
I did speak with an engineer at TFI and was told that they don't have a system that would refuel and connect to the OEM tank.
It is certainly possible, IMHO, but I think it likely goes against the criteria that TFI had to meet to get DOT's blessing.
Sure glad to read the good report about your system, begger.
I figure I'll have to go with this 100 gallon refueling tank and then have it plumbed into the stock tank. That way the refueling pump is recessed, which is an idea that I like as it protects the pump and filter.
It doesnt get alot more miles to empty, it starts off at 340 goes down to 290 and then goes back to 340, since I had to bend the float rod to reach the bottom of the tank it stays on full alot longer. I assume that onces it starts coming down off of full the miles to empty will adjust some but it wont be accurate because it is based off of a 30 gallon tank. I always use the fuel gauge over the miles to empty anyway since if I am driving highway I get 14-16 and in town I get 10-12, and when and tow I get about 8-9 mpg. I just need to figure out how many gallons I have at 3/4, 1/2, and 1/4 as I am still on my first tank of gas.
Leon
Leon,
There websight explains a little how to reprogram a pre-08 to the correct tank size. My guess is that you need to do the same for the 08's. Might need to ask them how to do it for an 08
lisaandleon: Just a quick heads up on this tank................there is a recall on these units as the gasoline versions have had 3 burst into flames.........something with the sending unit. I know you are running diesel, but just a heads up!!
