ok guys i need your help again... well i ran the scanner thing on my 86 f-150 5.0 EFI because i wanted to see i could pull a code for why my truck on startup isnt high idleing ever.. so these are the codes i pulled.
code 12-RPM unable to reach upper test limits
code 13-RPM unable to reach lower test limits
code 25-Knock not sensed during dynamic test
code 41-No HEGO switching detected/ Hego sensor circuit indicates system lean
so if anybody can tell me what these codes mean would be great and also what could be the problem with the high idle if i didnt get a Throttle position sensor code? thanks a ton
IAC is the idle air control. It's mounted to the throttle body. You need to take the throttle body apart and clean the blades and the passages with carb cleaner. Take the IAC off and clean it's passages in the throttle body.
