User cp / edit options / default thread subscription mode.
In the drop down box, click on, no email notification

50 to 60 a day?

Well, then, that could present a problem.

And the email notification thing doesn't work?

Hmmm!

I wouldn't consider FTE emails "junk".

I'm with Ben on this one.....Junk?......I'm usually sorting through garbage to GET to the FTE e-mails....I LIKE knowing when responses are given to whatever thread I'm active in........

50 or 60/day?........I'm pretty active here and at the MOST, I might turn 20 or 25 notifications.......Are you unsubscribing to threads (someone already mentioned this) that got stale or you no longer wish to be a part of?.......I join lots of threads, but some I'll make a comment or two, and if nothing new is coming out, I'll just unsubscribe.......

And the "e-mail notification" edit option didn't work?.....like tewferford suggested?......Try it again.

Great sig, Steve.

I'm on the other side as well...I personally enjoy finding 10-20 updated thread emails in the morning...I'm so addicted to FTE that when y'all get quiet, I get worried.

Just don't post such popular threads............

Use the reply to thread button, instead of the quick reply, write your bit, then scroll all the way down to subscription options. You can select none, no notification, instant, daily, or weekly notification.
