Thanks for info. I guess there is not a IH number for IDM. Parts list saved as one of my favorites. Now all I have to do is get truck back to North Carolina from Kentucky. That will happen Tuesday. Thanks again for info.

Thanks Guys for all of the info. Question: Has anyone every bought from Auto Computer Exchange. Found them on Ebay. Good price on IDM. Next question where is the best place to buy down pipe for '96 F350. Would like to replace it while I am installing IDM Valve Cover Gaskets and harness. That is if the IDM don't brake the Bank.

I have not personall bought from the Auto computer exchange but they have a good rep. Also why do you think the IDM is bad? I would hate to see you buy one then that not be your problem. use us as a sounding board for your diagnosis.

I am glad there is still Folks that try to look out for others. Thanks. I should have posted this info frist thing. I was in Kentucky when the Truck quit. Had it towed to Ford dealer, they could not get to it to repair but was nice enough to put on scanner (at no cost to me) nice folks. They said IDM was bad and would recommend replacing Valve cover gaskets and under cover harness. Had a friend go with me and tow Truck back to North Carolina today. Will start repairs tomorrow. Thanks again
