lift blocks

1977 F-150 d44 up front 9" in the rear (solid axles weep and be jealous of the greatest treasure on an old truck)

i want to get 4" suspension lift for my truck but i also wanna go a lil bigger so my friends told me to go with 1" lift blocks (dont confuse this with a body lift) problem is lift blocks are only for the rear but they said i could use them up front is this possible

go with a 6 inch kit and be done with it - I saw that sellers on ebay sell 6 inch kits for around 400.00, if I am not mistaken.

Most sane people will not use blocks in the front with leaf springs, especially with highway driven trucks.

so get a kit that was designed for your truck, and everyone will be happy.
Just my two cents.

While your F150 has front coils springs, so a coil spacer would have to be used, it is still not the greatest idea in the world. Khadma makes a very good suggestion by just getting a 6" get from the beginning, then you don't have to get creative with additional blocks and spacers.

since its coil sprung in the front just move the coil buckets down. just make sure to use grade 8s to reattach them

And no, on leaf sprung front ends it is not ok to run any kind of block on the front end.

What he said.
Most of the time it is illegal, and it is unsafe/stupid.

Like previously stated, it's a F150 so there are coils up front.

Just do a 4" lift, and forget about the blocks. For the rear lift, keep the stock blocks, and consider the shackle flip captain p4 suggested. As for coils, just don't get rough/tough country or super lift(a suggestion would be www.broncograveyard.com 's deaver super flex coil springs).

What size tires do you plan on and what kind of wheeling?
