At any auto parts store. specially made for delicate electronics. DO NOT use carb cleaner or other harsh chems. Simply remove your air filter from the box, and see if you can look inside the inet towards the direction of the motor. You will see an aparatus sticking out into the air flow. Looks like a small plastic rectangular housing with a thin wire in the center. That wire is the sensor. It heats up and the rushing of the air coming into the engine cools it down. The rate of cooling determins voltage sent to the PCM which then can calculate the amount (mass) of air coming in (uses other sensors too).
Spray that wire and surrounding apparatus with the MAF cleaner. Sometimes I lay a paper towel under it inside the tube to collect the excess cleaner. Allow it dry (quickly evaporates). Probably 10 minutes is fine. Replace the air filter and you're good to go.
The wire can accumulate grime, which acts like an insulation and then inhibits the ability of the MAF sensor to react to cooling effects of the air, thus sending a wrong signal to the computer thus giving wrong air volume calcs, thus giving wrong fuel adjustments thus global warming etc
