Change in V10 from 99-02
[updated:LAST EDITED ON 16-Dec-01 AT 03:31 AM (EST)]Not sure how many I have over there. Whatever it shows is probably about all I'll ever have. I've decided it's not the kind of place I like- plus we (gassers) aren't really welcome. So I'm here now. I'm hoping some of the other "gassers" will join me- this site is MUCH better. :-)

Yeah, you're right! This site is much better. I think it's set up better also. easier to use. Diesel is almost a religion over there. I am a diesel to gas convert. I like diesels, would own another but no for the sole purpose of saying I got one, like a lot of other guys I know...

Perhaps more than a religion. ;-)
The diesel is a great engine, but it just doesn't suit everyone's needs. It's too bad everyone's attitude isn't as good as yours because there are some good people over there. Unfortunately, they are usually squelched by the less informed. The good-natured ribbing turns nasty pretty quick. I left (for lack of a better term) when they refused to post a picture of a guy's truck because it wasn't powered by the PSD. This, among several other things, I thought was extremely petty on the part of the site admin. I figured if we were that UN-welcome, then I should stop supporting his site by being an active member and clicking on all of the NASTY banner ads.
A few years ago I had a 93 F150 and was on one of the mailing lists here. It was well-maintained with great people that were always helpful. Thought I'd check back for a list for the Super Duty and found this great message board instead. Looks like everyone (mostly) gets along and Ken has given us some terrific features. And this V10 specific forum is a nice sign that he's committed to all Ford trucks/SUVs.
Sorry about the rant. I'll try to stay on topic now.

NoMo, ditto monsta's comments. Glad to see you posting here. I've been posting on both sites, but boy, us gassers sure are treated like red-headed step children at the ford-D*****.com site! I think the thread about not being able to post pix of non-diesel super duties about summed up the pettiness of the site. Now if we can get all the other orphaned gassers to come over to the "blue site".:7

Just keep spreading the word about this place. Sooner or later, we'll all be here.
Honestly, with the up-coming changes to that place, I wouldn't be shocked if the gas forum didn't make it to the new board. Heck, they're even starting to turn on the old (pre '99) diesel guys.
Hope to see/hear from you even more.
Keep on truckin'
