I believe that if he put enough money into his engine he can out pull *some* or even most Cummins, but that doesn't mean that the powerstroke is better than the cummins...The same holds true for any engine...But i'd be willing to bet that more Cummins are putting down bigger numbers than Powerstrokes...
They may out down bigger numbers, but if the stroke is still outpulling thenw hat does it matter? gonna bash PSD or Ford get off the site, go to a cummins site

I'm not talking about just his truck, I'm talking about overall. I'm not bashing the powerstroke, I drive one...I'm just not so blind or stupid that I can't admit that something might be better.

He wasn't bashing International for the PSD, but calling Cummins the worst diesel engines ever is pretty bold, since hundreds of thousands of tractor trailers and other diesel trucks use Cummins diesels. The truck that came to dig my father's well had a big I6 cummins poewring the drill and air compressors. As for dodge, the truck AROUND the cummins might be crap, but not the engine it self
Powerstroke is better IMO. I see more Powerstrokes doing better overall up here with the work they do around here. Even offroad they do better. I may sound ignorant but i have seen what PSD does

I can see what your saying...
but to me the Cummins hasn't shown itself in the Dodge truck, possibly cuz dodge trucks suck but the Cummins in actual big rigs has shown itself. My neighbor had a Cummins in his big rig and it lasted till almost 650,000 miles. my buddsies cummins in his dodge lasted about 350,000 while i know people in the 400,000 with there PSDs. It's not always about high numbers
