The more I drive this truck (07 F150 xl), the more I can't stand the headrests.
They seem to be tilted to far forward. They even look odd tilted the way they are.
I've tried removing them and reinstalling them facing backwards and that is a small improvement.
Anybody know of any decent aftermarkets headrests?
Or....has anbody tried bending the support rods so the headrest is not tilting
forward?
Ideas?

I think there was a thread a while back about someone wanting to reverse them and the conclusion was that you can take them out, reverse them but they wont lock in place. I think...
I remember that as well. I also remember someone on a different forum complaining. Someone there said the angle had something to do with getting good results in the crash test.... hopefully that is the case because if they don't have a good reason for them like they are...that SUCKS. They do tilt too far forward. IMO
If they are tan leather, I would gladly change my '05 Lariat headrests for them. There is a reason super-safe manufacturers like Volvo have always had them "forward leaning". The less whiplash, the better. Of course, the main question is "did they change from 2005?".
