1st Long Hall Trip
We went from <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-comSan Diego to <ST1
Great Falls Montana </ST1
stopping in Vegas then Yellow Stone. The total trip was 3500 miles. The truck preformed beyond my expectations, the ride was so smooth and quiet except when the fan kicked on. I was able to maintain 70 MPH most of the way except on the hills. On the really big hills she slowed down to 45 and would stay there every other hill the cruse would hold it at 65.The only trouble I had was when I pulled in to <ST1
Great Falls</ST1
lace my U joint went out not bad but you could feel a vibration when you hit the gas. Ford fixed it in one hour. The breaking system was great the new transmission was beautiful on the hills I couldn’t have asked for more.
My fuel mileage up there was 8.9 MPG and 9.8 on the way back. Also it was nice to be passing the Chevy’s and Dodges on the hills.
It turned out to be one of the best trips I had ever taken.
