I've got my tranny temp gauage mounted my a nice new 2 gauge pillar pod and it's kind of lonely, so I was thinking about getting another gauge and can't quite decide what to get. Should I go for the Amp, engine temp or rear diff temp gauge? Decisons, decisions, decisions...
Or I could just add a little analog clock---- NOT!
What's you sggestion? I'm leaning towards the engine temp gauge.
Amps or voltage would be my choice. Engine temp? Nah...if it gets too hot the 'puter will take care of it. Rear diff' temp? Uh................you tow that much?
How 'bout a vacuum gage to help you improve your mileage by keeping an eye on vacuum?

I only tow about 2k per year, give or take 500 miles..
Tell more about the vacuum gauge option - not too up on that.
I have a vacuum gauge ... it was in my highboy and it was free, so what the hay?
But, it does help you keep the MPGs up if you keep an eye on it.
When driving long trips, I keep an eye on it, and try not to let it fall below 10 inches of vacuum. That's how I get better than 16MPGs on the highway ... near 17 in some cases. Not often, but it does happen
OK - I think I've pretty much decided on a engine (h2o) temp gauge.
So, where is the 'best' place to install the sender unit? The gauge I'm looking at comes with a - 3/8" & 1/2" NPT adapter and 1/8" NPT electric sender -
