chip or not to chip?

Anyone running a diablo delta chip? Which one? 2, 1, or custom?
Did it make any difference? What extra mod did you make?

Definitely go w/the chip, although I prefer Nachos with a good, homemade clam dip. HEEHEE, seriously, chips are a great way to increase HP and torque. Just consider one that lets you disable it for most of your driving. The increased timing and increased fuel can tend to carbon up your engine. A chip that allows you to go back to stock configuration is really helpful. The Diablo Delta allows that, so does the Kenne Bell Switch Chip, among others I'd bet. You must run premium with a chip and that can get spendy @10-12 MPG. You also get the benefit of much better transmission shifting with a chip so maybe if you decide for a Flip/Switch chip with a performance and a stock program, have the stock program include the better shifting codes, your transmission will thank you, Ken 98 XLT E-350 V-10.

I was under the impression that only certain chips helped out the tranny too? :+
