1966 Steering Gear Box:
I just got around to checking the steering gear box on a 66 that I have bought and it was dry as a chip!!!! I put 90W gear oil in it and I hope it will be OK. I filled it almost to the top of the hole.Is there anything better to service it with and do you think it is maybe to late? Thanks, Russell

Well, I figured out why my gear box was dry-IT LEAKS.Is there anything I can do short of a rebuild? What if I just pump it full of grease or service it with a extra heavy weight oil?? Thanks, Russell
