How do recalls work?
How to find out about all recalls pertinent to this truck?
Do recalls transfer to a 2nd owner or should I help Dad to pursue it?
Any other major recalls come to mind for '98 F-150 SuperCab 4X4?
Is there a website to dig into this or is it exclusively through the Dealer network?
Is that the VIN on the lower right corner of the Window Sticker above the bar code?
Can I presume the VIN is the key to all recall records?

From what I've read, he's in FL and the truck is in NY..... but yeah, get your dad to unplug it!

Yes, the F-150 is located at distance in my Dad's garage.
Don't joke about AARP until after you've asked them to quote you on auto insurance & compared to who you have now.
As my friends reach 50 I tell them that now they don't just have one foot in the grave, they've got 50% of their weight on that foot. Don't know anyobdy who's getting any younger.
