Go get'em rock! My biggest fear would be tearing something up! The best way may be to load them both up and go side by side. That way your almost guaranteed you won't tear anything up.
I'm surprised no one has mentioned putting weight in the bed. I would suggest tractor wieghts or something like that if you have access to them. From what I know about tractor pulling hitch height may be another issue. If you have the higher hitch than him the chain will pull down on it giving you a little more traction. Like others said let some air out of the tires, low gear, and take him for a ride. Jared
