Ok, I thought my tranny was done, but I dissected the filter and it's practically new, no clutch material or anything. My question is -
When you drop the pan, there's the valve body with the accumulator bolted to it, and then another rectangular piece forward of the valve body, that unbolts just like the valve body. I had thought that this was part of the valve body, but it's not included in the new valvebody at the dealership. Anyone know what this is, and what happens when it s***'s the bed?
Thanks
Joe

that is the accumulator body at the furthest foreward point, it has 2 10mm nuts and about 12 8mm bolts holding it on, it controls all your shifts and line pressure, for an incredible shift kit do a search for c00nhunterjoe's shift kit videos in the 94-97 forum and you get an incredible shift, it works on all e4od's and 4r100's and costs nothing
