say I'm going down a 6% grade or so and it's not quite steep enough to brake, or be completely of the loud pedal, but not flat enough to keep the gas pedal pushed to keep me going the speed limit (like I EVER do that but you know, "I was just keeping up with the flow of traffic Officer so I wouldn't be unsafe). With a bare minimum of throttle applied my mighty V-10 surges, for lack of a better description. It's like at that throttle setting it pumps fuel into the injectors than cuts completely off. It's a weird feeling, almost like pressing the asccelerator on and off really fast. And it's only at maybe 1/8" inch of throttle application. It almost 'bucks' but not quite that violent. It lasts maybe 1 second of each, gas on, and gas off. Is there a throttle stop/dash pot type thingie like carbeurated cars used to have on the V-10 ? Or is it something I have to take to the dealer and have them adj something with the engine management program ? It's got to be just a minor adj I would think. But knowing that modern cars have no adj on anything anywhere I just thought I'd ask if anyone else had something similar that I could look into.

Now Monsta, it aint nice to give me frights, I might need counseling now,, haha. It could be the torque converter, but it doesn't feel that abrupt. It really feels like a throttle stop position thing cause it's only when I am just barely putting pressure on the accelerator pedal. Not quite enough to give it much more than maybe 250 RPM, but not completely off it. I will definitely try and ascertain the next time I drive down this particular stretch of road where this hill is and see if I can feel the torque convertor locking and unlocking. It may very well be. If I was sure it was my guess I wouldn't have to ask the master, er uh, the Monsta.
