I got a 1999 F 250 4X4 CC Lariat blah blah blah.....It has 78000 miles on , great running, but I had a hard time getting it cranked the other morning....Wasn't cool or anything here, just a little hesitant....Starter went a round a few times and when it did crank I had to hold on the gas to keep it running....I could feel it missing, and then it finally spitterd and sputtered enough to get all cylinders going. Sound like time to get new plgs an wires..If so, any suggestions on a particular kind??? Or if it sounds like something else, could you give me some input???

Plugs. A good name brand will suffice so long as it is the proper heat-range & size (of course...) Plus, we (V10ers) do not have wires that need replaced. Coil-on-plug ya know!

When is the last time you changed your fuel filter?
Maybe a vapor lock? My truck did the same thing about 2 months ago. It only did it one time and it's been fine so far. I am thinking about new plugs but dreading changing them. I bet a new fuel filter wouldn't hurt either..My truck has been knocking too even after going to the mid-grade gas.
