removing wheels...

sort of off topic...but a 7.3 up front...
a 1990 F250 parts truck followed me home... rear wheels have not been off for a long, long time...so far gentle persuasion has no effect...any ideas???

Dont be so gentle... use a sledge hammer they will come off..

Diddo, and if that doesn't do it, use a torch to heat up the rim where it touches the hub, then wack it some more.

I had a chain hooked to the rim then to another truck and we had to jerk them off. Even then it took three attempts.

use a sledge hammer and work your way around the tire it will come off

A good dousing with PB Blaster for a day or so should make them come off much easier.
Ford uses hub centric wheels, so be sure to spray around the hole in the center where the hub sticks through.
