Solved my "engine too lean problem"
Well- I finally solved my too lean problem. I constantly got P0171 and P0174 codes on the computer and assumed it was because of the modifications I had made. I decided to systematically remove the mods to see if there was one in particular that was causing the codes.
The first thing I took out was the Granetelli MAF and you know what???
No more lean codes and an increase in gas mileage of about 1.5 mpg!!! I called GMS and after explaining the trouble with the MAF for a minute or two they gave me a return authorization number to ship it back. They are going to send a new unit.
Mostly I am impressed with the customer service of GMS....we'll see if the new unit matches that service level.
