JMF10081C17 is there anything in these that tells paint codes its red and white I have been told poppy seed and brilliant white but I would like to get codes to get it right ??? Paddy O !

paint code is on the door tag...below the VIN number and is a 2 letter code on tutone paint schemes, a single letter for solid color scheme. For 66, white...theres 2 codes...C-pure white...used 63 up..M-white...Ive heard it called corinthian white but i see that was used 60-63...the differences are subtle as my 65 is a tutone white...Corinthian is a more creamy white.
Red..its called Red...but Ive heard it called rangoon Red...used 62 up...its letter code is J

Corinthian White used 1961/63. Wimbledon White used 1964/1990's.
Wimbledon White is an off white.
1966 F Series Colors & Codes
A = Raven Black
B = Caribbean Turquoise
C = Pure White
F = Light Blue
G = Chrome Yellow
H = Sahara Beige
J = Rangoon Red
L = Holly Green
M = Wimbledon White
W = Marlin Blue
8 = Springtime Yellow
Colors used on other Ford models were available as a special order.
Special colors used by fleets (Coca-Cola for example) were also available.
If SS appears as a paint code, it means the color was fleet related.
If there's no paint code, that also means a special color.
Wimbledon White is an off white.
