I think it's a toss up. If you start with one....you won't miss the one you don't know about! I happen to have XM because I started with them and now have XM in my truck and on both Harleys. Whichever you choose, it beats the pig snot out of FM!

Im getting Sirius for my truck tomorrow. IMO, Sirius has better programming than does XM.

Howard Stern and great music. The DJ's don't bother me.

sirius programing is better imo. Bubba is the best and the music is great. I can't listen to regular radio again.

I prefer Sirius. I've had it for 3 years now, because I got sick and tired of the Detroit area radio market. It's sux eggs to the 3rd power! Also when traveling it's difficult to find the types of stations you want. As far as programming I prefer Sirius to XM, but there are certain programming I wish Sirius had that XM has. They'll be one in the same soon enough.
It's soooooooooo nice to listen to what you want rather than to have these LAMO program directors force feeding you garbage you don't want to hear!

I'm a big Jazz fan and actually prefer Fusion Jazz. XM has a better line-up for me

Neither. See my CD vs. DVD discussion in the General Automotive Forum for reasons.

I chose Sirius because I know nothing about XM. I don't know if there are much differences other than the programming that's available.
