I think it's a toss up. If you start with one....you won't miss the one you don't know about! I happen to have XM because I started with them and now have XM in my truck and on both Harleys. Whichever you choose, it beats the pig snot out of FM!
I prefer Sirius. I've had it for 3 years now, because I got sick and tired of the Detroit area radio market. It's sux eggs to the 3rd power! Also when traveling it's difficult to find the types of stations you want. As far as programming I prefer Sirius to XM, but there are certain programming I wish Sirius had that XM has. They'll be one in the same soon enough.
It's soooooooooo nice to listen to what you want rather than to have these LAMO program directors force feeding you garbage you don't want to hear!
