Wrench icon in dash
05' 150 Fx4 just turned 40K I was driving through a parking lot @ 15 mph when I lost my throttle. I pressed the pedal nothing happened I shifted into 1st, 2nd and drive still no throttle I shifted through he gears to make sure it was not my tranny; I coasted into a space and pressed the pedal a couple of times still nothing. Then I noticed the wrench icon lit up. I shut down, restarted and the throttle works again. Is this just a computer glitch or should I take it to the stealership? I have not had a single problem with this truck.
What do you guys think??

The wrench light is the fault light for the Electronic Throttle Body control. When a fault is detected in the system, the wrench light comes on and you are either on forced idle or reduced power. There are many things in the ETB system that can trigger this so have autozone or someone scan the codes for you and see what 2 or more codes you get. I say 2 or more because typically when a ETB code is set, one is an informational code and the other one is the actual code. Good luck.

Since I got the wrench icon I have driven over 70 miles, to from work stop and go traffic and no problems since. I am going out of town tomorrow with the truck. I plan on going to AutoZone to have the codes scanned. I'll post back when I find out what the codes are. Thanks to all for the suggestions.
