Do you mean other than original style? No different style is made. You would have to customize your own.

I used the Coverlay units. Not quite exactly original but close enough in my case.

While on this topic, where would be a good place to get my hands on some 'new' door panels for a '77 f-150 without paying an arm and a leg?

Like Broken said, junk yard. I fiberglassed mine on the backside and bondo on the face side and repainted them. They turned out well. Much better than paying an arm and leg from LMC.

Hmm. Well, looks like a road-trip is in order then. I refuse to do business with the local junk-yard guy since he has shafted me and screwed with me way too many times. The biggest problem is that the previous owner of my truck (older, bad mechanic/electrician, brother) decided that he needed to remove the door panels to mount 6"x9" speakers. Improperly. He used a clip hole as a bolt hole for the crappy speaker. Now there is no anchor points left with enough plastic to mount the clips to the door panel.

What would be the best way to 'rebuild' the clip base? Fiberglass? Epoxy? Bondo?

i would bust out fiberglass, and i say that only bec. you can get kits that you can cut out just the right size so you don't have to get a bunch o' bondo on...not only that bondo cracks with heat, and fiberglass you can heat it to almost any temp and you have no problems...i know that bec. i cut a whole in my heater core holder thingy so i wouldn't have to take the whole damn thing out and fiberglassed it back together and have not had a problem since...so yeah fiberglass is a good idea.

I may have to get some fiberglass then. However, I found another salvage yard tucked away in town that has 4 trucks with parts I can use. I plan to get some of the trim from the Ranger XLT trucks, cab markers and mirrors from a 76 F-250, and hopefully the black carpeted door panels from a 77 F-150 Ranger XLT. I hope I can get all this stuff. The trim pieces will cover a lot of my exterior blemishes due to a previous bad bondo job and rock chips in the paint.

you call $150 an arm and a leg? I bought mine from LMC, they look kinda cheap, but there made by a reputable company

If you don't mind dyeing them to match each other, dennis carpenter has them for 100/pr and they're made from original ford tooling/dies. They are mismatched or possibly multi-colored because of color changeovers during production - cosmetic only, functionally good.

Wow, $60 is great! I found mine in the boneyard for $75/pr - original ford xlt's, but I still had to disassemble and dye them.

Greeley. What about you?

Don't mean to hijack the thread.

If you are going to dye the panels, you could mix and match with whatever you come across...I got a green one you can have if you pay the shipping, pretty good shape. IM if interested

Well beings how not everyone has $160 to spend on "door panels" i would assume the junk yard way would be "cheap" bec. then they only cost $20-$30 at the most....you have to keep in mind my friend that not everyone is made out of money....(no offense please don't take that the wrong way)but just like every consumer out there, it's nice to save a buck or two. just keep that in mind.
