Hello all. I joined up the other day. Just bought a 07 F-150 XLT. I really like it so far. Still getting used to it after owning mid-sized SUV's for the last decade. I needed something that could haul more and tow more. I think the 150 should do nicely. I mainly joined so I could search the archives and find answers to questions like:
What rustproofing will work best? Ford's $500 job, or the local hillbilly spraying the underneath with used motor oil.
What bedliner? Spray on? Plastic? Roll on out of the can from the local megamart?
Do they really expect me to pay "that" for mudflaps? Shouldn't they have been there to begin with?
How is it possible that I have the most popular vehicle in the country but not one auto parts dealer in my area stock vent visors?
Hopefully, those questions and more will be answered while I surf around the site.
