I just joined so I guess I will say "hello". I work at Ford and may be able to answer some questions that haven't been answered. See you in the forums...
Work for Ford heh. well I have a question for you. Why are the trans temp guages so way out of reality? This has been an ongoing discussion for a while. Was just hoping that maybe you might be able to answer.
You will probably get a lot of questions like this. so welcome to the site. I'm faily new also but always trying to learn. Ken keeps most of us straight, and all of the moderators will help anytime.
Good luck and have fun.
I've got one for you! Try and find out why Ford no longer carries
the right Motorcraft plug for the Ranger 3.0L FFV. The right
plug is AGSF12PP, which Ford claims has been replaced by a
AGSF22PP. I have tried the 22s, and they run TOO HOT.
The AGSF22PP is also used in the 4.0L, and the best I can
figure, Ford stopped the AGSF12PPs for inventory reasons....
I would appreciate anything you can find on this for me!!
I work at Michigan Truck in Wayne, Michigan. Home of the Expedition and Navigator. As far as the plugs, I think it was a cost issue. I'll check it out.
