I have a '56 F-100 with a 350 chevy engine, turbo 400, gear vendor overdrive with a flaming river GM column. I am looking into getting the EZ wiring harness, I am wondering what others input is on getting the 21 Circut, Im not sure if I should get the regular or mini. Any info, or opinions would help. Thanks.
Hi & Welcome
I used the 21 Circuit EZ Wire Kit in my 53 and liked it a lot. The colour coded wires as well as the printing every foot on the wire made it easy to install.
Since I knew I'd eventually be running A/C and an electric Rad Fan I opted for the the 21 circuit... I don't think there's a huge idfference in the price and I believe they use th esame panel size...not 100% on that.
They have a website with pictures so you can check that out. Here's where I bought mine: http://www.docskustom.com/ docskustom Doc's House of Bolts
I used the 21 circuit from EZ wire and it was very simple & easy to install I also have A/C & tilt GM column, it also came with electic fan wiring. I did some research and compared it to painless other than the price difference I saw no difference.

I've used the 21 circuit 5 or 6 times no problems.
I got the regular size, not the mini...my logic is that it's easier for me to spot the fuses in a regular size box, plus get real this is a truck with a lot of space under the dash, so the standard size was fine.
I installed the EZ Wiring 21 circuit harness in my 49 and I highly recommend it. I chose the 21 circuit harness over the 18 circuit because its easier to not use some of the wiring than than to go back and try to add wiring later.
The instruction booklet is not he greatest in the world but its workable. There are alot of guys here who have installed the harness and can walk you through any tough spots you might have
