One More question - we have vdo gauges, does the harnes come with wiring for these type of gauges, or will I need an adaptor / kit for these gauges? Thanks.

This is my husbands truck, just trying to help him out

EZ comes with I guess you could call it a generic instrument wiring, meaning a lead for gauge power, dash lights, left turn signal indicator, right turn signal indicator, high beam, plus leads for the temp, fuel, tach, volts, oil, temp gauges.

These are regular (loose) wires; I usually mount them into a multi connector (from a junk yard donor's dash) so I can easily unplug the gauges as a unit when removing the instrument panel.

Hey - Ron Francis has a kit for the vdo guages that works his wiring harness, do you think that it would work with the ez wiring harness?
Has anyone done this? Instead of junk yard parts? Just weighing our options...

If you can get a specific part for your VDOs, I'd go for it. Must be a plug in.
Ron Francis sells many parts which can be used by others.
