how can i tell
hey guys, i have been searching on here but havent found much luck finding my answer, so could you tell me how i can tell if my carrier bearing is shot, i have a vibration at 40 mph and then stops after 45, and then if i am cruising at around 65 i get a jump feel once in a while, what do you guys think it could be, u-joint as well perhaps??

This problem affects a lot of our trucks. Several treads have addressed the problem and I don't know that anyone has found a definite answer. I think one replaced his rotors and got rid of his, other than that, I can't remember a fix.
