Anyone remove CAT??
Has anyone removed their catalytic converter and put a straight pipe in its place??I was thinking on doing this and having the cat and the straight pipe flanged for easy smog checks.Of course it would be only driven "off road" with no cat.I've done this to two of my previous Chevy Silverado's w/350's and they sound incredible along w/ a 2-chamber Flowmaster...Probably gave it some more HP.What do you think?

Very loud roar, indy car like. Absolutly no power gains either. I put the cat back on and have been happy since.
