That is right! I have had two half ton regular cabs with the 300 six and got 12-13 in the winter. Whith my V10, I am getting 11-12 (everyday driving). Not bad considering I have four more cylinders, about 200+ more HP, more interior room, and a whole lot more weight!

yeah you can get .5 to 1 mpg increase with headers. but figure a good set of headers for a v-10 will set you back 800 to 1000 bucks. the headers will never pay for them selves in gas savings. unless you keep your truck 20 plus years.
there is NO such thing as fuel mileage with a V10, just imaginary figures , just has beautiful blondes in skimpy swim wear at your work place.just doesn't happen too often..........
