Where is the scanner port supposed to be located in a 97?
as you can see in my sig its not exactly a stock truck...I did not build it.
Also my engine's sticker says OBD2 exempt...

that's where it's supposed to be on a 97 TRUCK. whoever dropped the psd in that '88 could have put it anywhere, or nowhere. can the pcm be tapped into directly, maybe some kind of special harness from ford. just a thought, big trucks are like that. if the data port doesn't work you can plug directly into the computer.

Thanks, I found it...way up under the dash...I have put it down so I can get to it.
I was also surprised that when I hooked up a code reader there were no codes...and it even gave it the green on the emissions...
