is the check engine light on? you should be getting a code problem. go to auto Zone and have them scan the computer and see what it says. a good tune up with new plugs and wires could help. O2 sensor could be bad and wrong air-fuel ratio... i guess the muffler could be plugged and not letting flow thru, had to tell, need more data.
