I've seen what a chain does when it breaks......it's even worse when it is a loggin chain (as was the case) went through the tailgate,the front of the bed the back of the cab (this is a crew cab Ford f-350) through the front bech seat and imbedded itself into the firewall....OUCH?as for the basketball hoop?friggin idiot...should neverput it up in the first place....heh heh

ya chains can be real SOB's when they do break, watched a guy in the next town pulling down his old barn frame snap a chain and it whent through the studs of both walls and out the other side. luckily it broke close to his truck or it woulda been chewed up like what flareside_thunder was talkin bout.
