check out this dope. and check out the even stupider guy standing dangerously close to a chain under heavy tension. its a shame hes doing it with a ford.
I'm not an engineer, but i would have used a rope long enough so when it falls it doesnt hit the top of my car and hooked it up closer to the top so you can get some leverage.
Yeah, should have one long enough, and could have gained a little leverage by putting it up at the level of the part hooked to the explorer. Right at ground level is the worst, at the top is the best (for leverage)
What a moron, a 10' pole with a 5' chain attached to the bottom ... that leaves 5' worth of steel pole to land on your car. The rope probably would have pulled that thing out if they hooked it up to the top of the pole.
naw, i think to remove the pole right. he should have got a longer chain and put it closer to the ground and lock all four for sh%ts and giggles.
for the guy standing by the pole, thats one stupid person. yea i bet it would be cool to see it pulled out but theres some cases back seats are better then front roll
man am i dumb. i was using the chevy to yank a stump today with a strap. the stump leaned towards the truck, the strap skinned the bark off the stump sliding up it, and the end of the strap shot back, hit my hood deflector thing, then shattered the windshield and put a dent in the roof.

yea, but all turned out OK, cause it was only a chebby.
now if it was a ford ya done that with, then we would have called ya a dummy.
