Well I hate to ask probably such a stupid question and I hate to ask it but either I am overlooking this part when searching catalogs or they don't have it.
I need the turn signal socket for my 66 F-100. The springs and contacts where the bulb push down on are rusted up and do not make good contact as the springs stay down and are busted.
So I need to find the socket assembly to fix it. If anybody knows a place that has these let me know as I will be looking as well.
Suggest check w/ local Ford parts dealer or Auto parts supplier, there should be a universal kit that would work. Checked LMC, and Dennis Carpenter Catalog and did not find a listing for the Parking light socket. John's F100 list them in their catalog, pricey, if decide to go thru them, suggest calling and make sure part is in stock, they can take couple of days to few weeks to fill an order. Could not access thru the post so google search under John'sf100.com

I'm removing mine and replacing the valance with one from a 64. I'm not sure what kind of shape they are in but they did work when I took them out. I have the whole parking light assembly. I'll try to look at them this evening and p.m. you if they're decent.
