Depending on your taste I think white would look nice on the 83. The nice thing about white is it goes with any other colour of interior and with a few colour accents/stripes can look deadly.

Speaking of hail....just returned home from my holiday in Alberta early because Dauphin just got HAMMERED with baseball size hail. Car and truck are hit, trailer has windows smashed and roof is finished, 2 windows smashed in house, water in basement.........
It's crazy, you can't drive around here without seeing car windows smashed.
I bet you can bet a good deal at the local Ford dealership right now! I drove by it yesterday coming home and every car and truck on the lot is pelted.

kamsack got a hit too...a couple of guys are saying 80-100% crop write off...

Surface preparation along with patience is the key.
It used to amaze me how really long proper prep can take, lots of times when helping I would think the vehicle was ready when really it wasn`t even close....
