The check engine light came on today, code reader shows a powertrain code 1132. My code book doesn't show this one, but the OBD II web site lists this as "lack of HO2S11" and "sensor indicates rich". Think this might be an oxygen sensor, but not sure which one. There are no symptoms, it's running fine. BTW, this is on a 97 E150 with the 5.4
Any suggestions?
Hey there. Just a note in case you still have a problem. The code is for Bank-1 sensor-1. The two highest sensors are the number ones. The two lower sensors are the number 2's. They are also called up stream sensors, and down stream sensors. The down stream sensors are the later, or the ones by the converters. As for the bank, There seems to be some a question which is bank-1 or bank-2. I know that chevy is bank-1 on the plug number-1 side. I have been working with the drivers side as bank-1 on fords with good results so far. Cant find it in the service book for sure. Good luck, let us, or me know how it works out.
bank 1 is on the pass side, 2 is on the drivers side. BTW, the clys are numbered 1-4 on the pass side and 5-8 on driver side with 1 and 5 being at the front
Thanks for the replies, that narrows it down so I won't have to guess which one it is. So far the code hasn't returned, but think I'll pick up a sensor anyways.
