Talking Fall's A Comin!!!!!!!

Well, it's almost september and for me that is the best time of year(sep-mar).

I know I'm not the only pigskin fan out there, and I wanna jump the gun on the piggy thread(they're all male Tim)!!!

I'm not an avid follower of the pros as I think they play with out heart but I do watch a game here and there, but I won't miss a collegiate outing involving my DAWGS!!!!!

Let me know ya'lls preseason predictions and thoughts on rankings and all the other issues ya agree or dissagree with. I'll start bumpin it to the top come kickoff and braggin and sullkin when the inevitable happens.

MINE-

PRO- the falcons are doomed and I don't foresee another dream season from the saints so........the colts to win the stuper bowl.

NCAA- since the system in place is biased for the weaker western and northen teams socal will almost get an auto berth in the bcs champ game. I don't think they'll go unbeaten and it will cause yet another huge contraversy at the end of the season as to who is #2.------
ENDING-
#1- USC
#2- it's a toss up till the middle of the year but my early preds-

Texas- watch out for em, they're under the radar and strong
West Virginia- I hate to say it, but with the class they have now they are built for offensive winning, we'll see how it works with other athletes in time.
Michigan- with Ohio st down they'll cake walk through the confrence.
LSU- those are still mostly Sabans boys down there and their defense alone could beat half of the teams in the nation.
UGA- hey, i'm optimistic, and we are the ones under the radar in the toughest confrence in the land. If we make it past a hard schedule in early october we're headed to Atlanta....and only the purple bayou will stand in the way.

Other assessments-

UF- sorry gators it aint happening....come back with a real quarterback and rebuild the defense that gave you last year!
US.C.- "watch em folks he's a fairly dangerous man", I think charlie daniels wrote that song about steve spurrier!
UT- Fulmer aint dead yet, but his quarterback hasn't been alive for the past three years.....don't expect him to awaken now!
Miami- uhhhhhhhhhhhh............No!
Fla St- for the love of the game Bobby...........retire!
ALA- saban will have this school back at the top within one class, but not this year!
Clemson- the tools are there, if only they had a mechanic to use them!
ARK- it's truly a shame, I like Houston Nutt and he has the best athlete in the nation but he can't seem to close the deal!
AUB- here kitty kitty kitty!!! Ya need a QB, all the other tools are in place.
the state of Miss- please join the rest of us with at least one good team!
Tex Tech- offensive powerhouse, ya have to also have a defense to reach the high ground!
CAL- I'm begging(litterally on my knees) beat socal....I don't care about the rest!
Rut- lets see it again, I like em!
Louisville- see cal.....insert WV, make use of bush and you'll be up there at the end!
Okl- another year of the recent.....and we'll forget all about em!!!
Boise st- repeat...........I wish, not a chance!
Penn St- NO, not a chance!
Notre Dame- new QB........still no defense! Come on Weiss, ya came from the best defensive minds in the pro game, get it together!

SLEEPERS- the bcs sleepers for this year- TCU- they are stacked and have a favorable schedule......cinderella's in texas this year. Follow em to the bcs!
HAWAII-This team is amazing to watch, every offense on the mainland could learn from em.

Heisman contenders- if Darren Mcfadden plays half the way he did last year and doesn't get it...........they need to do away with it all together!!!

SO.............. Let the bashin of my words begin!!!!

It was 110* heat index here today. I can't even begin to think about football 'till I can sleep with the windows open.

Today's temps in my area 94, feels like 108. You got love that humidity!.

Fall is comin'. The temps will go down into the 70's during the day and 50's at night. I can't wait!

Only one problem...... When the nice weather arrives, so will the snowbirds and the tourists!

And to start the slow arrival of fall is a Shuttle launch on wednesday..

Looks like it's time the rope off the front lawn. Cause if I don't, I'll have every shuttle launch watchin', no respect for my property, trash dropping, loud mouth, screaming kid, can I use your bathroom asking family from outside the local area (including out of state) tourist trying to park on my lawn, and wanting to use my backyard as a launch viewing area. I can't wait until the shuttle program ends. This way we can have 5 years of peace from the launch tourists!

ag30265. I see you are big Georgia fan I will be coming to the Troy/Georgia game in November and am looking forward to it. As a Troy fan I have traveled to LSU, Florida State, South Carolina, Georgia Tech, and many Sunbelt games and so far the best tailgating has been at LSU, how is it at Georgia? I will be going to Arkansas, Florida, and Georgia as away games this year and am really looking forward to the Georgia game especially because it will hopefully be cool like fall should be.

I have always enjoyed our gameday party's and would say we will hang with or surpass the Lsue gating, but to get the best you have to have an evening game. When there's an evening game you can can start at 6-8 in the morning and eat/drink and watch all day. The times haven't been released yet but I will say the troy game will be a 12 nooner, so you'll have to start early.Maybe we'll get lucky and have several evening games this year, either way.........you cannot loose with the scenery you'll see!

They usually have a stadium close to capacity regardless of who's in the contest. Ya'll have fun might see ya there!!!

Being from Wisconsin, Im naturally a Badgers and Packers fan.
I expect the Badgers should be pretty good again this year, but Im not expecting much from the Packers. Favre will be back again, but that doesnt mean much because he doesnt have very many people to throw to and with Ahman Green gone, the Pack arent going to have much of a running game. Not to mention the fact that they havent done much of anything to improve their defense. It looks like its going to be another "rebuilding" year in titletown.

Born and raised in Nebraska, you can probably guess who my favorite team is.............although since Bill Callahan and the west coast offense came to Lincoln watching the Cornhuskers is pretty much like watching........................any other college football team. I sure miss the Big 8 days of the option and the power I when everyone knew what the next play was, we run the ball up your guts and you try to stop us.

Me and the Boy have been shooting a couple of nights a week this month, spent yesterday cleaning the guns and now the whole house smells like Hoppe's # 9 powder solvent. Smells like bird season is almost here.
