Check Engine Light On. HELP!

Hey everyone, I just put on a set of BBK shorty headers on my truck and within 50 miles the following code came up.

P1151

From the vague description I got from the Autozone guy it has something to do with engine vacuum and a lean/rich condition. My question is, what does this code mean and what is the remedy.(hoping it is easy)
Oh and if there are any OBDII gurus out there please feel free to chime in thanks!

It's either a faulty upstream sensor on the driver's side, an exhaust manifold/header leak, or some other problem with the new headers.

Hmmm. well I hope that it is defenitely not a problem with the headers. If it is just a bad sensor then so be it. I guess I'll go down to the shop and have them retorque the header bolts.

BTW anyone with aftermarket headers experience anything like this? Just interested if i'm the only one or not.

I don't know any more than the following;
P1151 Lack of Upstream Heated Oxygen Sensor Switch - Sensor Indicates Lean - Bank No. 2.

Not to sound like a smart a-- but are all the o2 sensors reconnected correctly?

Yup. They weren't even touched during the header install. This is why I am so confused.

Additionally i was told that those 02 eliminators might be needed to make the code dissapear. Why is it bank 2 only and not both?

That's hard to believe since the upstream sensors are on the downpipes.

Wrong. The upstream sensors HAVE to work in order to control fuel trim. Only the downstreams can take advantage of MIL eliminators.

Why is it bank 2 only and not both?
Because, so far, the fault is limited to the driver's side only.

They only thing replaced were the actual headers since they are shorties and not long tubes. The original manifolds have no sensors on them with the exception of the EGR tube on the drivers side. Therefore the y-pipe was simply left in place with all the oxygen sensors plugged in. I was present during the entire install and did not see any sensors being removed from said y-pipe.

Speaking of the EGR tube, mine was replaced since the old one rusted onto the old manifold, could a loosely tightened EGR tube be the source of my problems?

BTW: Bank 2 means: driver side of the truck right? Sorry for another dumb question.

A little update here guys. It was a bad sensor! Truck pulls harder and gets better MPG's than prior to the header install.

The porcelin insualtion inside the old sensor cracked from the air chisel blows to the old y-pipe studs during removal of the old manifolds. A new motorcraft sensor from rockauto.com and now the whole deal is fine.

To those who doubted my sensors being disconnected/improperly connected after the install, they weren't. I double checked.
