Help With Trailer Backing

there is a 4 wire harness closest to the left battery that feeds the circuit involving the reverse lights and feeds power to the center of the 7 pin trailer plug. I plugged it in and it works.
All I know is I looked for it for hours and found the plug hanging there. It just came back from FORD for head gaskets. They pull the entire cab off the frame there when they do head gaskets.
