let me start by saying im far from a yankees fan and i wont go into the reasons here lest i get kicked off of here but i thought it was nice today that Alex Rodriguez passed the 500 mark of home runs carreer wise. ARod is not one of these stroid freaks and hopefully he will be in line to shatter the record that will bebroken by the drug induced bonds this week. Arod being 32 is in the prime of his career and if Aarons record is to be broken i do hope that an athlete of higher moral conduct that bonds will hold the record for a long period of time .
there are four people in the over 500 club that are currently playing bonds Griffey JR, ARod and i forget the other but hey arod is the youngest so hopefully before long he will smoke bonds before long
ok enough baseball talk for me today lol
id love to see Griffey beat the record too...heck anyone but the drug induced bonds whomever catches the ball when he breaks the record should make sure that bonds never gets hold of it again (ie for the hall of fame) the way i see it it its not a record its just another blemish on the sport of professional baseball
