Does anyone know where I can get some new replacement or new old stock door panels for my truck? I do not knkow if coverlay makes anything or not, but I need the entire panel. The holes where the tabs for the window felt go are almost all broken, so the felt won't stay in place. My truck is an XLT and has the light opal gray interior. My locals Ford dealership says that they are not available anymore. I have checked several places. The closest I can come is National Parts Depot. They have the style of door panel I need in every color except the light gray. Whats the deal? I am going to be pissed, if I can't replace them! Please don't suggest the salvage yard, because I have seen what they have and its not good. At least mine look good. Any thoughts?

Look in Classic Trucks magazine, they might have something in there. Seems
I have seen those panels, or at least some of that interior stuff in Blue Oval Truck Parts online?
If you want to stay with your Lt. gray you may have to paint them to get it. Auto paint stores carry interior paints and can even make rattle cans to your color code. In addition there are adhesion products for plastics that keep the paint from chipping. the key is making sure they are CLEAN before painting.
LMC has a new line called Colorbond for Interiors. Page 90 of their FD.11 catalog.
I just looked on Ebay.......none for your truck.......but you could keep checking.
If yours still have some life in em why not try securing the window felt strip with adhesive? If you remove the panel it would give you some room to line it up and secure it right. Permatex makes a black silicone adhesive that should fill the bill nicely. Just clean up any spillage off the gray before it dries.
You say light grey ??
I have what I would describe as a medium grey which was the most popular color for the 94-96 XLT interiors.
I was able to buy a pair to match my 94 from an add on Craigslist that came off a 95 Bronco in good condition for $35.00.
I would keep checking bone yards till ya catch one fresh as it's coming in.
Yep The gray is most common . Start checking local wreckers . If they wont look look your self . Around here with things like that they don't even try to sell em. And yes you can find nice ones . The pair I just bought didnt have a scratch on em.
Funny, exactly the same thing happened with my panels. One place you might want to try is Jeff's Bronco Graveyard. www. broncograveyard.com. There site doesn't seem to be working today, otherwise I'd get you the #. I've bought there before, and they were pretty good.
One option that you have is getting a good used set, and painting them to match. SEM makes some good interior plastic paint, so an autobody supply shop can make an exact color match for you if you bring in an old panel. In fact, that's one of my projects this weekend is to paint my door panels.
Here's a link on how to do it. Look on page two under the refinishing flexible and ridgid plastic section. You'll need the SEM soap and the plastic/leather prep products. The guy at the body shop supply place told me that I didn't need the adhesion promoter, but I bought it anyway. He said it was not a bad idean, but not necessary. Here's the link: http://www.sem.ws/tech_sheet/rap-1.pdf. Oh yea, take a look at page six too. It talks about SEM color coat, and that's the SEM paint that they'll give you.
I can't delete my post, but, OOOPS, as I read firther down, not available for your year or mine, 1992, sorry. There must be panels somewhere that are new.

Mine look good, but really don't have much life left. Almost everywhere something clips or mounts to them, they are broken or starting to break.
I emailed blue oval truck parts. I went to coverlays website and didn't see anything so I emailed them. I also emailed browns of two rivers. I emailed bronco grave yard, since I didn't see anything listed. I will keep checking with the local salvage yards. Its just that everytime I have looked, if the truck had the door panels I need, they were just crap.
As for painting to match, I have tried that before, and it never turns out looking as good as everything else. Also if the previous owner of the vehicle used protectants etc on the interior there is no amount of cleaning to totally get it off, so the paint or vinyl dye wont adhere to it.
The door panels are out there, just be patient in the search. I found all 4 panels (upper and lower) in great shape for my '90 F150, cost was $99 + $38 shipping. Power switches were included as well as the inside window felt. I'll keep my eye out for you.
