Depends. I know on our trucks, for the powertrain warranty that is what we get stuck with. It is still better than a $3000.00 turbo

Not saying that your turbo is toast..............just giving an example of what has happend for us. 15 trucks. 3 turbos, 18 injectors, two oil pumps and a few other odds and ends later, $100.00 per trip to Dr Dealer.

To check the sway bar ends disconnect them from the frame and go for a test ride. No floor board rattles, sway bar ends, rattles cab mount.

Mine was clunking just like that.
The dealer even checked it out and said all was fine.
I replaced the very worn ball joints (48K) and the clunk is gone.
I had to the hammer the lower joint before it broke loose enough so that I could wiggle it with a bar. But it was worn out none the less.

well i found the problem today....i really dont wanna say only because i feel really salty....well my sisters b/f took my truck to WV a couple weeks back and told me he bought a trailer hitch and golf hitch ball and that he would just keep it on my truck and i could have it...well i heard it back there clanking around the other day and thought to myself...NO, this cant be jumping around and causing me to actually feel it in my feet...well needless to say i took it out and the clunk went away...the sorry thing is , this isnt the first time ... i had a d shackle in the hitch reciever and i HEARD clanging and i thought it was my leaf springs...im paranoid
