I just returned from vacation in the high desert country of Utah. I will most likely retire to that area of the country when the time comes, I like it there that much.
For those of you on the fence deciding about whether a Wicked Wheel is worth the investment, I recorded a sound bite of my truck pulling the trailer. We were going about 68 MPH, 2400 RPM at the bottom of the hill. It was just steep enough to slow the whole rig down a couple of MPH and cause the cruise control to give full throttle to try and maintian speed. Near the top of the hill you can hear the engine slow slightly and the turbo just howl. Music to my ears.
It was recorded at about 6500 feet elevation.
Enjoy! http://home.comcast.net/~kwikkordead/Wicked_Wheel.mp3

OH BABY!!! That sound sweeeet! Like a jet at take off! Did you notice a bnig differance after it was installed in performance. I want to know if it's worth it or not. Thanks Lancer
Kwik is that with or without an ATS housing? Mine was almost anoying till I put the stacks on, now I can't hear anything. I either leave the windows up and crank the radio or put'em down and listen to the big pipes roar.

Stock housing with the NAPA 6637 air filter. Stock exhaust with the BTM muffler. The whole sound is coming from the intake. The exhaust wheel sounds different and didn't get picked up in the recording. It's not that loud. Wife and I can still carry on normal conversation. Just enough to sound great.
In the Red Rock Canyon area, real close to Panguich. I went home via Bonneville Salt Flats. Pretty interesting terrain. Easy to see why they make land speed records there. LOL. I also saw many places where somebody foolishly left the road and fell into soft quicksand. DEEP tire tracks terminating with a large square water filled hole where the Jeep fell down into the muck and had to be pulled out. OOPS!!!
