Those rims look freakin' awesome!!! I had a friend powdercoat my Hummer H1 steel rims in silver. Painting doesn't compare to powdercoating for looks and durability. One safety question, though, are those cast aluminum rims on your truck that you had done??? There is some debate and reports of wheel failure due to the heat curing process for the powdercoat. Apparently, it weakens the aluminum metal structure if cured at regular 400-degrees. Did your guy tell you about this, or take steps to cure at lower temps? i hadnt heard that - but a buddy of mine had his aluminum wheels powdercoated and never had any issues...but - honestly - im not sure what they did - i didnt think to ask - and they didnt say.
I read a few posts on different web sites last week and the issue was brought up, but from what I can remember guys that had been powder coating for years said it isn't an issue.
