Looks like you`ll need lots of over time Snow, this is just a good start.
The machine work will be another big step and the list goes on.

I don`t much about that Flattie speed equipment but I would expect it would be ok. It seems like a good price if it doesn`t jump way up at the last moment. check out the shipping first though.
Best to give a call to Mr. Lee, he`ll know and may have something like it.

i think you can tell by the amount of mounting holes in it and there location, youd have to ask keith to be sure he could tell you. BTW keith sells all thats stuff. I spoke to him in passing about them last i saw him

I cant tell anything about it.

Im surprised at the cost though, most rebuild kits that complete for a 302 arent much cheaper.

It's the older Flatheads that set you back and arm and leg.

I was surprised at the completness of the set heck even comes with a Cam.

Looking at their 302 kits, they have odd combinations of parts. Lets put a high volume oil pump and brass freeze plugs in a stock rebuild kit. HV oil pumps are useless except in an all out race engine and plus I prefer steel freeze plugs. Brass is too soft for my liking.

Well HV pumps take more hp to spin and they like to turn stock oil pump drive shafts into a licorice.
